iHeartMedia
This has gone by without much discussion, but when did iHeartMedia acquire KFAB. Is iHeartMedia now a major player in the Radio Media market? I have noticed quite a bit of iHeartRadio ads on KFAB's webcasts, especially during the weekends.
Re: iHeartMedia
I think Clear Channel re-branded in to iHeart.

Re: iHeartMedia
iHeart has been the streaming side of Clear Channel for a long time.
There have been some promotions on KFAB off and on but there seems to have been a big push recently. I have used iHeart to listen to a Cedar Rapids Ia radio station for more than three years and KFAB has been there the entire time.

For the record NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER !!!!!!!

Re: iHeartMedia
Anyone else been watching the collapse of Rush Limbaugh and iHeart radio which is now $20 Billion in debt?
Any guesses on what would happen to KFAB?

No, I don't do Limbaugh, but I'm not surprised that his listeners are (finally) getting tired of his endless spew of drek!Coyote wrote:Anyone else been watching the collapse of Rush Limbaugh and iHeart radio which is now $20 Billion in debt?

Maybe Trump will pick him as his running mate, if he's out of a job. <cringe>Omababe wrote:No, I don't do Limbaugh, but I'm not surprised that his listeners are (finally) getting tired of his endless spew of drek!Coyote wrote:Anyone else been watching the collapse of Rush Limbaugh and iHeart radio which is now $20 Billion in debt?

He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
...and then they were gone.
Re: iHeartMedia
The leveraged buyout of Clear Channel took place before the 2008 financial crisis. Much of iheartmedia's debt is leftover from the original deal.
