They did this same thing last year. Seems like it works really well to get people to pay their fees.

Need to note for those just reading the headlines that it is for not paying their fee for this Business license and has nothing to do with not passing a health inspection.
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

They do this shaming campaign every single year. It's effective alright, but strikes me as more of a shakedown. The health department is threatening to go around town, bring someone with a gun with them and cite/close these businesses for being a month overdue on paying a licencing fee. That's government for you.

Most of these delinquent businesses are probably on the list because of administrative screw ups. The Kellogg plant for instance: I bet some central office handles tax matters for dozens, if not hundreds of properties, and the renewal just got lost in the paperwork.
