Is it just me, or has there been almost no advertising for the Countryside Village Art Fair this year? I don't recall any TV commercials. The Village's website has no mention of it, and their FB page only has started posting about it today.

It was sad to see how far the Countryside Village Art Fair has fallen. The number of tents seemed to have fallen from 33-50%, and the amount of people strolling the grounds seemed lower than that. Usually finding a parking spot across the street at Westside is difficult, but all the ample parking spots is a sign that this fair won't be continuing in the next few years. It was disappointing to see the number of empty storefronts as well. I always preferred the quality and variety of the vendors at Countryside compared to the Summer Arts Festival.

I saw several TV commercial, but yes, the social media was lacking.

Today the morning started off very busy, but the afternoon was a little slow.

I know they have started to leave some spaces open because of drainage uses. 4 or 5 years I had a storm sewer inlet in my tent and that sucked. I don't think they put people in those spots anymore.

All that said, my sales were fantastic today! Without looking at the previous numbers, I had one of, if not the best Saturday I have ever had at Countryside, and for years, Countryside was my best art fair of the year.

Countryside Village is on the rebound and I think the art fair will will continue to get better too.

Doesn't sound like any severe storms though (seems like strong storms/wind are always a tradition with this festival)
