Brad Paisley - Free concert in Lincoln

Country star Brad Paisley will perform a free concert at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Oct. 13.

The Country Nation College Tour presented by Frontier Communications will roll into Lincoln for an on-campus show in parking lot 8 near Memorial Stadium. Country artist Brett Young will be the opening act. Gates are expected to open at 6 p.m. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Clink just announced Ariana Grande which I'm sure will sell out as well. My daughter was already begging me. Lincoln is no where near blowing Omaha out of the water. Yes, they have had a few good concerts but i'm sure its not blowing Clink out of the water. Also there are artists such as Jason Aldeen (i think) who play one show in Lincoln and months later a second in Omaha. I see this happening a lot in the future.

Do those rankings include the Garth Brooks concert? That was an anomaly. And I didn't necessarily say Pinnacle Bank Arena. I'm still a little put off that Paul Simon didn't come to Omaha, I guess. But Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift don't float my boat.
