Lake Manawa: July 1st

Also confused: according to the Nonpareil it sounds like there may be fireworks at Tom Hanafan Park in CB as well on July 1st. Maybe they just mean that you can view the City of Omaha fireworks. If there is a separate show, that would make 3 major shows all on one night.
July 1: Fireworks Fun: Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park, 1 North River Dr., 7 to 10 p.m. Bo’Dell and the Relics will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. There will be food vendors and a train ride. Fireworks will follow the T.D. Ameritrade Home Run Derby Contest.
Edit:
After reading further, it appears that they are hosting a viewing party for the Omaha fireworks, so there is not a separate show.

Thunderhead Taproom is having a private event that includes a fireworks display on Friday the 30th. Tickets are required, but I assume you could see them from around the area.

Omaha's annual downtown New Year's Eve firework show has been postponed by cold weather

http://www.omaha.com/news/metro/omaha-s ... 8b3bf.html
The show will instead take place Saturday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. It will include a brief ceremony and countdown by Mayor Jean Stothert.

So that brings on a perplexing question. Is now the last Fireworks show of 2017 or the first of 2018?

Wild Willy's opens largest indoor fireworks store in Iowa

Fireworks shoppers in Council Bluffs don’t have to brave the sweltering heat of a tent to purchase their Fourth of July spectacular. Wild Willy’s Fireworks opened its second location in the city on June 1. Iowa law allows retailers in permanent structures to have a longer sales season than those from tents or other temporary structures. Dan Williams, owner of Wild Willy’s, said the 11,000-square-foot facility at 4101 S. Ninth St. offers a wider selection and a more pleasant shopping experience.
