Blake Ursch / World-Herald staff writer wrote:Mode de Vie, situated across from Garbo's Salon and Spa, will be a "casual yet refined" champagne bar featuring French-inspired foods. The menu, created by chef Jeff Owen, will feature French-influenced dishes from around the world, including North Africa, Vietnam, The Bahamas and Louisiana.

It was kinda tucked away back there, hard to attract business if nobody knows you exist

Probably would have tried the food. Didn’t know it was there.

That’s gotta be a record for being open for such a short time. Really an attractive looking place. The location is sorta tucked away but I’ve seen worse. I sometimes wonder about Regency about what the future holds for it. It really is an attractive shopping center and is unique in that I can’t think of another high end smaller mall retail center like it in Nebraska or Iowa. But with the way retail has changed you have to wonder if the stores would be better off farther west in the metro , perhaps at the new Heartwood preserve when that opens. Just a thought.
