Wanna be in the movies?

Post by icejammer »

From today's Nonpareil:
The Greater Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau announced that Pinkplot Productions is currently shooting a film titled "Red State Project: An American Quilt in Film" throughout the United States.

The production company will be in Omaha to hold an open casting call today and Saturday for aspiring actors. The casting director is seeking middle-aged people to be extras (non-speaking) in a scene that takes place in a restaurant.

The film will shoot in Omaha on Sunday and Monday and center around a man who is obsessed with trains.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Daren Chilton at (917) 881-9771 or darren@pinkplot.com (e-mail preferred).

I wasen't too enthralled with About Schmidt either..But everyone is entitled to their opinion..

I think Election is still Payne's best work to date (although many will argue that his latest movie Sideways is now his best)..

It wasn't very user friendly, but it didn't suck. It has some of his best direction.

Let me guess, you'd prefer Armageddon or something else with more explosions! :P  :P

About Schmidt was very well received, it was nominated for 2 Oscars and won 2 Golden Globes. I dig it.
