Obviously not a burger place, but the Wagyu Burger at J.Coco is the cat's pajamas.

Love Dinkers but you have to have the burger at The Blatt. Awesome and the fries are made in duck fat. Wow.

Nope. Pointed to what he wanted on the menu, stiffed the server and mouthed "Yale is for pussies" on the way out the door.

I think for burgers, Red Robin does a pretty awesome job. A lot of food for the price too.

Anybody been to Sinful Burger in Bellevue?  I had a friend go there today and they got the Goliath Burger which is a 4 lb burger with 1 lb of fries.  Here is a picture of it.  If you eat it all, its free.  Otherwise it is $25.

I have been there twice.  Not a big fan. Burgers were OK at best and for the price I will find other options. Don't remember right off what ones I had. Both times I was the the fries were really greasy but I have had others tell me that is not always the case.

Just had lunch at Louie M's.  Jalapeño cheddar cheese burgers was great.  Moist good flavor.  The Italian sausage sandwich was one and half Orsi Italian sausages and roasted Mancini peppers and grilled onions.  Very tasty.

Frankly, Stellas is overrated, and I can't believe that the other places in the Metro didn't get a mention here. But Stellas on an average night beats the Cellar. We went there last August because family we know that spends time on K-town thinks its where food was invented told us great things. Our meal was competent, but nothing great. Certainly not the best burgers in the state great. When Sioux Sundries was open, it was way better than this place. Ole's Big Game bar is better (even if you don't count their stunningly delicious rocky mountain oysters.) There is a place in Red Cloud (Paradise Cafe?) that is next to the Willa Cather museum that makes delicious burgers that could run circles around the Cellar (we ate there the next day after the Cellar, and were amazed at how much better their burgers were.

The problem with a contest like this is that unless you have eaten at all of these finalists, how can you intelligently vote for any of them? It makes no sense.

They don't care if it's legit, it drives traffic site traffic. I am sure it's well planned that each restaurant is in a different part if the state...

You've eaten one hamburger, you've eaten them all. As long as the preparation and cooking is adequate, there is hardly much difference from one place to the next. Some use different buns, some dice onions, jalopenos, cheese and mushrooms and mix in with the meat.

The fact is, there are hundreds of burger holes in the state who can all make an equally delicious burger (adjust for which cook is on shift on which night, etc).

But it's all the same |expletive|, and the competition is relatively arbitrary.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. - Winston Churchill

So a new place to add to the state's best hamburger list: Western Bar and Grill in Dannebrog. Here in Omaha: Pig and Finch.

Add in Shucks on 119th, Louie M's, and Dinkers. I have eaten burgers at the Cellar and was unimpressed.
