I'd think about seeing Joe Cocker, Chicago, and Heart or I can just stay at my house and hear them for free. :)

Those three sound good, but so does Slaughter, Blue Oyster Cult, and Loggins & Messina.

I just realized Sheryl Crow was on there. She wouldn't be terrible. Everything else is kind of craptacular.

Is Loggins in Loggins & Messina the same as Kenny Loggins and if so do you think they will play the caddy shack theme, Top Gun Music, or Footloose :;):

Yup. Saw them in '73 when they were rockers. (Hey, I'm old)-----and yes, he'll probably trot out all of that stuff.  He turned country sometime during the 80's.

Of everything on there, (a step down from years past IMO) I'd be most likely to see the Thorogood and Johnny Lang show.

It sounds like you're into blues-oriented rock, Wags----check out Taj Mahal.

Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt/Taj Mahal should all be awesome.  This is such a great venue for live music.  The one real benefit Omaha has due to the casinos.

So, there might be a full page spread of photos from Sheryl Crow's show on p.40 of The Reader.  I also might know the guy who shot those photos!  :D

Johnny Lang is pretty damn talented. 3 Doors Down is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. They aren't too far behind 311 in terms of live performance.

Was there a lot of people?  I thought $40 was a bit too much for that show.

Cheech and Chong were ok....

Probably a lot better if it wasn't a 30 degree windchill!
