Omaha elevation/photography question

Post by Silverspoon »

What is the highest point you can physically stand on to take an aerial photograph of any part of Omaha?  Is it the roof of the FNB building, or is there another building, on top of some hill, that is actually higher in elevation?

Maybe the top of the high rise apartment building on Levenworth?

I'm very surprised that a building like the Woodmen Tower or FNB does not have a public observation deck.

That would be very cool if they did.  Im sure they could pay for the construction within a couple of years of tourism.

I was on the roof of the old Masonic Manor once (32nd leavenworth I think), and that would definitely seem to be the highest point. Unless you want to climb a radio tower.
