Can you cite the "little research" results? I keep track of the NRA pretty closely and while they oppose some of our current regime's overreaches disguised as simple appointments, etc, there is not much when it comes to the appointments of people who respect that the second amendment is a constitutional right and we gun owners chose to exercise that right and wish to do so without being harrassed or threatened by people doing so to gain votes (ala the "bitter clinger" speech.)Uffda wrote:I didn't say that the person shouldn't be confirmed. It would be ludicrous to have the appointment of the Deputy Under Secretary for Logistics and Materiel Readiness subject to Senate approval, but not the director of a major federal law enforcement agency.
