Forum is back up! Looks like there may be a couple tweaks here and there yet to be made to get everything back to 100% but we're up and rolling. Thanks for your patience!

Haha, I was thinking the same thing kinda....I am sure my wife was getting sick of hearing all the stories of development.

By the way, it looks like when you quote someone, it isn't showing up correctly. Look at my last post above to see what I am talking about.

It also isn't as easy to see if there are unread posts. I think before they were bolded or something.

I'm halfway interested in hearing a cliffs notes version of what the attackers did on the back end, and what had to be done to re-build the site.

I was just surprised by my hacking skills. A couple passwords here and there, no problem. But I never thought I could take down an entire website.

A few examples of my last post...

The UNO hockey thread I can't even View anything... So I made a new thread we can merge it when its all fixed

The UNO Arena thread, I can read, but can't reply to it... I want to post those renderings I snatched off their website and posted on Grow Omaha's FB page earlier today.

Brad, I believe the posting.php file is not able to interpret some of our previous posts due to the lack of some mods. That is just a guess until we check them out.

If anyone else sees any bugs please post them on this thread,

For the time being please do not use BBCode. I've noticed even the bold does not work. I am now sure there is bug in the posting.php file which I think is causing thread disappearances into the Russian Triangle.

Those Russians... They go from posting spam and porn to taking over the website. Heh, maybe we can take over a Russian Pharma company's website and turn it into an urban development forum?

Garrett,
You wouldn't want anything Russian-owned. Russia is, essentially, the Council Bluffs of the world.

For whatever reason, the Highline 2.0 topic in Urban Development isn't working, either.

I also noticed that when you click on a link, it is opening in the same tab on a computer. Before, it would open in a new tab, so you would still remain on eomahaforums on the existing tab.

We are planning on doing a database cleaning at midnight Tuesday Morning, if all goes as planned, so the site will be down to try to clean out all of our former modifications, and then we will build up those mods which people appreciated the most.

Awesome, thanks for all the hard work. What mods do you think will be re-added? I am partial to the mobile version of this forum.

The third page of the Blue Barn thread isn't coming up. It won't let you post a reply, either. I only found out because I was trying to post an aerial rendering that highlights the layout of the site more.

Thanks!

The formatting/edit buttons at the top of the reply page are still a bit wonky.

I think a lot of those problems will be addressed when administration cleans up the database early next week.

Ok, so I'm old and not really current on all the ins and outs of message boards. Here is my question, and it's because this board has been hijacked and hacked more than once....

Why wouldn't those who run this board use the following? It just seems to me that it might be a better shot.
