Should the user/avatar section be moved to the left?

Post by BRoss »

It has been requested that the user/avatar area be moved back to the left, so the question is what do all the forum members want. Please let us know and if a majority would like it moved, we can certainly look into changing that.

Would it be possible to make it a setting choice that user could select, like we have for not seeing signatures?

It depends on if there is a Phpbb extension for 3.1 which will allow such a choice.

Which means a high probable 'no'.

I'll certainly look into it, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be an all or nothing type of thing. I'll try to look into it later on today and will post back with what I find. But for now it's time to get some sleep.

I like it on the left so it lines up with anything users may have in their signature.

I like it on the left, but it's not a deal breaker. I'll still love you whether it's on the left or right <3

Remove them and signatures, we don't need to see your little picture or big banner every |expletive| time you post.

If you don't like avatars and signatures, go into the user control panel and turn them off.

You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.

You can add users to your list in two ways. Within each user’s profile, there is a link to add them to either your Friend or Foe list. Alternatively, from your User Control Panel, you can directly add users by entering their member name. You may also remove users from your list using the same page.

You don't want to see my posts... Just put me on your foe list and boom, I'm gone...
