Traditional Neighborhoods With Architecture standards?

Post by Midwestern »

I've noticed that Lincoln seems to have a few neighborhoods popping up in the suburbs with new construction bungalows, tudors, Victorians, etc that have the garage in the back of the home.

I wish somebody would do this concept (custom builders of traditional architecture) in Omaha. Or does this exist already and I have no idea? I vaguely remember some sort of proposal called Leytham but I'm not sure if that was for the type of architecture I'm speaking of.

Welcome! That's a fascinating idea. I don't know if there are builders like that in Omaha.

Although the Craftsman, next to the Tudor looks kind of goofy (and scale doesn't look right).

I know there's been a new urban neighborhood off Hwy 34 near the Kawasaki plant for at least 10 years now, where's this one at?

Is this what they're calling homeowner's associations now?
