Re: Up and Coming Cities in America
Ok, well, silly list and parameters. My first reaction is to say the following... "Charlotte? Dallas? Houston? Up & coming? The cash is on the dresser, the John is back home with his wife & the hooker is at Waffle House"OmahaOmaha wrote:I don't have the link to this story. I just saw it on the news. He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
...and then they were gone.

I'm the subcategories, Omaha has better nightlife and shopping than San Francisco or Miami? Really?? Yeah this list is unreliable.

Re: Up and Coming Cities in America
Well, it’s another “feel good” list for what it’s worth..
Keeping this in perspective, it’s at least nice to see Omaha playing in the same neighborhood as other, larger, cities/metros in the top 10 of somebody’s rankings..
I agree with another comment here..send this to Amazon.. Omaha is a sure bet for their new “2nd HQ’s” ..

My first reaction to this was that the Omaha Yelp community may be more active by population than other communities. Remember, all this data is taken from Yelp data entries. I do not know about other Yelp communities, but having been an Elite Yelper going on 5 years here in Omaha, I can say that it is very organized and very active. And, the Omaha Reader just did an article on Omaha's Yelpers.
