Happy Merry

Post by NovakOmaha »

My friends, and I've only met Jeff in person,

To those who celebrate today, Merry Christmas!

To those who just finished up, Happy Hannukah and I hope you enjoyed your Chinese food and movie last night!

To those who observe Mawlid an-Nabī[, whether it was 12 or 17 Rabī‘ al-Awwal

And to the rest of us, Happy Festivus!

Let us hope the coming year is peaceful. Anything else is commentary

Happy Holidays to you Novak..

We’ve never met in person, but I’ve been communicating with you online since the old Chamber Forum days.. Some 17 years ago..

It “feels” like I know you pretty well at least :) ...

Merry Christmas to everyone and prayers that 2019 is better than 2018.

17 now 18 years ago. Wow. I joined the Chamber board to network with other small business owners...well, maybe some big ones too. Woof. What a long strange trip it's been. From real state & hotels in the 80s & 90s to wholesale distribution to even more wholesale to a bunch of pretty unrelated subsidiaries to moving to Detroit in 2008 to more or less retired & consulting now.

That's nearly a generation ago indeed.. Much has changed, specifically for the Omaha metro since those days..and I think it's been mostly positive. I sense we'll be seeing major changes to the look and "feel" of the Downtown Omaha core within the next 3-5 years. Even though you live out of state, I'm glad you've chosen to stay aboard here and add to the discussions...
