This statement is not pointed just at your comment Aaron, just more in general after some of the other comments I have seen the past few day (News, internet, facebook, etc).

"Omaha" is more than just the physical city limits!  Its also the name of the Metro Area...  Papillion is one part of the Omaha Metro area!  The team represents the whole meto area.  I would have thought the people would be done getting bent out of shape by now but after all the news about the new stadium this week, apparently not.

What I find funny is that by many it is totally based on the end result they are after on when to call the Metro "Omaha" and when Omaha has a specific political boundary.   Some people want it both ways.  Guess it depends on the current agenda.  And that is not specifically pointed at you Streets, just feeding off your "funny"

EDIT - When I typed this I had not seen Brad's response.....

Really?  I must have missed all the shows with development news on the east side of the Missouri River...... (not to be snarky or anything, but c'mon)

I just happened to notice today that the WernerPark.com billboard on westbound 80 (maybe between 42nd and 60th?) points out its location in Sarpy County, with no mention of Omaha (that I saw...  might be some in fine print).  Went to the website and the only mention of Omaha is in the team name.

Went to the link for Sarpy County on the ballpark site and you'd be hard pressed to even make the assumption that Sarpy County is anywhere near Omaha based on the information on the site.

Just sayin'.
