Not a big deal, but I read this forum via clearing my unread post queue and I'm seeing a stuck unread post in this thread. It's showing new activity, but the post is not visible. The user is nonexistent, so i don't know if they are just a spammer, or a new poster trapped in a moderation queue.

I looked into this but can't replicate the problem, I'll look further, but can't guarantee anything.

No, I think that's built into the code. I'll look, but can't guarantee anything, the only time it has come up for me is when I only have a three lettered word though...

Use Google. Plugging in your search with the tag site:eomahaforums.com works pretty well.

Thanks. I always forget about doing it that way. I will second the fact that it does really work good.

Wednesday at 8 PM, I'm planning on doing the upgrade to 3.1. During this time the board will be down. Everything should be wrapped up by 11 PM hopefully at the latest.

Moved conversation from Site is back up:

It looks like there may be an extension that can do that. I personally like them on the right. I'll leave it up to the Admin to decide on whether to change this.

We will have to get more input from people here on this one. Last upgrade we did move it to the right, so it can be done, but only if it is something a majority would like...

I like it on the left.

I've started a poll on this: http://eomahaforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17085

If a majority would like this changed then I can look into implementing this with the approval of the Admin.

By the way, nice work on everything else.
I believe this was just corrected. External links will now open in a new window. Thus will now be the default, but you will now be able to change this in your profile settings.

Also, I have yet to find a new 3.1 extension to move Avatar and User Info to the left side...

It seems like auto refresh is not in the works given the fact that it would "put a strain on the server resources and increase your bandwidth usage."

What could be added is a box above the forums that lists the latest posts.

Another feature that could be added would be a box on the bottom that would serve as an eOmahaForums group texting box, or a chat room box where public discourse could occur.

Profile is now defaulted to the left, but you can change it to the right in your control panel settings. You can also turn off avatars and signatures in your settings :

As you can tell we are trying out a new Header Modification, but the images all need to be 1150x190.
First: Do you like the new header theme. If so:
Second: What pics should be rotating

I really like the new headers! Second, if Brad would allow it some of his aerials would be perfect.
