States with best/worst drivers

The States With the Worst Drivers
ABCNews wrote:GMAC for the past six years has surveyed roughly 5,000 people across the country with 20 test questions taken from various state driving tests. It turns out than many Americans don't really know what it means when there is a solid yellow line on one side of the center line or what type of lights to use when driving in the fog. (No passing and use your low beams.)

So where does your state rank? Below is a list of how each state fared from worst to best and their rank from last year. There was a lot of movement from the last test, so study up New Yorkers, there's always next year.

When I lived  in New Mexico, the joke was on Texas drivers.  When I moved to Omaha, the joke was about Iowa drivers.  My first observation was how inconsiderate the Nebraska drivers were.

Move to Illinois and tell me what you think.

Shocker, no southern states in the Top Ten (barely crack the top 20).  It's amazing what low property taxes can do for your education system.

I've been to Chicago many times.  The taxi drivers there an in NY City are a gaggle of freaks.  I'm surprised they are issued a license to drive.  Public safety is certainly not on their agenda.

NYC cabs were somewhat scary but I think since literally everyone is driving just as bad that it all averages out.
