Number 5, ahead of Minneapolis, Denver and Washington DC.  Gotta love Forbes!  http://www.forbes.com/pictures/mhj45effk/5-omaha-neb[/url]

Well, I'm solidly in the "young professional" category, but I'd live in DC or Denver over Omaha, given the choice.  Omaha's not bad (yeah, low cost of living and all), but it's still lacking in what I would choose as a yuppie in comparison to the aforementioned cities (e.g. useable mass transit).

On the positive side, however, I've only been here just over a year, but the potential and continuing development in Omaha is still exciting, especially in Midtown.  I don't have much hope for streetcars in the next decade, but the city is becoming more vibrant and liveable.
