5th Cheapest City for Beer Drinkers

Post by BRoss »

Least Expensive Cities for Beer Drinkers
5. Omaha, Neb.

A six-pack of Heineken costs less in Omaha than in any other city among the top 10. The people of Nebraska also drink more beer per capita than in most other states. Each February, Omaha hosts an Extreme Beerfest as part of Omaha Beer Week, one of the largest annual craft beer festivals in the Midwest.

I have definitely noticed generally higher prices everywhere Ive been when Ive shopped for beer. You can pretty generally find a decent $6 6 pack around here and many places your looking at 7-8.

That seems like you needed a new fridge.

I did notice when I was in Dallas a few months ago that pretty much every craft beer 6er was a dollar or more than in Omaha. Including Texas brewed Shiner.
