It's a bit confusing to me how they do this. Â I mean, Papillion is not a "standalone" town as a place such as Fremont or York would be, so is it possible to judge it by only what is within its own city limits? Â Since it is a suburb of Omaha, what it has is a part of Omaha, and what Omaha has is really also a part of Papillion.... they mention "lack of arts and culture", and sure that could be true within the little area of Papillion itself, but being a part of Omaha in almost every sense, then there truly are arts and culture in the area. Â
I guess I never like it when people talk about- and rate- towns that are suburbs on their own merits because to me those types of towns really are not independent as a place such as Fremont or York would be... if I lived in Papillion I would refer to myself as living in Omaha, with Papillion being nothing more than a reference to what part/section of Omaha I live in. Â (and don't get me wrong, that is a good thing)
But anyway, this is good news for the Omaha area!!
The list was just expanded to 100 places on CNN Money.
I think it needs to be retitled "The 100 Best Places to live if you want to live in a suburb or the country." Â There wasn't anything resembling a city on there. Â Pretty lame, especially in light of the "con" of Papillion lack of culture and arts.
"The right to have access to every building in the city by private motorcar in an age when everyone possesses such a vehicle is actually the right to destroy the city."

Because it had a population grouping of 7500 to 50,000

Papillion also moves to #1 on Money Magazine's "Best Places to Raise a Family and/or Elect a Mayor Who Will Use Your Tax Dollars with the Permission of the City Council to Silence the Assistant He's Been Shagging":

I think the problem was that she wouldn't put out. Nothing worse than rejection, loss of job, 200K lawsuit. Whatever happened to the days of a simple "no, and don't ask again, creep"?
