We need a new forum index for statistical data..

Post by Erik »

I like to post what I find and put together, NDizona has some very nice data as well, and so do other people, and just so that this data doesn't get lost and we have to dig all over for them, we should have a forum or some type of upload feature to store this data..

I'm a statistics geek, and I love a lot of the data presented here, and NDizona has pushed it well over the line where we need something like this!!!

I can help with that if you need some, I am a web developer/programmer...

I will be handing out tidbits like the above if you do it weekly

---not a programmer or a web developer but I play one on the internet.

BTW - the search function on this site has made my life so much easier!

Thank you all for all that beautiful data.

Probably won't see me in here much.  I am not a statistics guy.

The biggest reason for this need is when you have good information, this will make it very easy to find for everyone as you won't have to dig forever to find stuff, we can easily just create a new thread with a title of the information provided and paste it in here...

Like with the census information, one thread can be ongoing for like say, counties or states or etc..

Or with statistical data that is updated monthly (and there is a lot) it can be under just one thread and it is easy to find and you can review previous months very easily...

This Index will be a very handy in the present and even more so in the future and I guarentee that this will be very much utilized by everyone..

If someone was to post data on another thread in another index, we can leave it there and just create a new thread here for easy access and easy updates..

I went through several forums and moved some threads here last night - only going back a couple years - so I think this will be helpful as time goes by.
