Roll-off recommendations

Post by almighty_tuna »

My plan is to rent a roll-off container today/tomorrow for some serious house cleaning. Wanted to see if you all had any recommendations before I just started guessing.

Lowe's was demoing this in the parking lot a week or two ago on W Center.  Seems like a good idea for the type of job you are looking at if it is big enough.  Not sure what the disposal cost is but I am guessing it is less than a roll off and a truck coming to you twice.

Bagster by Waste Management
3 cubic yards/606 gallons of debris and is strong enough to hold up to 3300 lb. The bag is 8' long by 4' wide by 2'6" tall, big enough to hold full sheets of plywood or sheetrock.

Here is the cost for pickup in my work zip code from their web site

3 Cubic Yard Bag - Mixed Waste Load  $99.00  $0.00  $99.00
Each Additional Bagster bag  $79.00  $0.00  $79.00

If I remember correctly the bag was about $25 to buy.

It looks cool, but at 3 cubic yards I don't know if that's necessarily going to be big enough.

I will probably end up going to "It's Got to Go!".  They have a 11yd container for $140 that will accept anything but dirt, rock, cement or toxic chemicals.

I have used C&B Containers multiple times and been VERY happy.  It is owned by a husband and wife.  Plus, she was pretty hot.
