She's doing fine. It was actually someone else holding things up.

I've moved in! I have to get the place presentable but I've been staying there since Friday. It's awesome. The skyline and the OM are especially good looking just before the sun comes out. I'll post the pics later.

A little late to reply but we had 134 days in a row without going above 32 degrees?? Hehe well I don't know about that, it might have seemed pretty cold for a while that year but omaha probably hasn't seen that since the last ice age! Otherwise I don't know what is worse, a move in freezing cold weather or blazing furnace heat... probably depends on if there is ice all over the place.

You know I was planning on moving to down by the old market as soon as one of my jobs worked out. But now its not looking that way. My fiancé has had a phobia of apartment fires and fires in general. And with so many fires lately it pretty much killed that plan. So Hopefully I can find a nice house down around there that isnt to dumpy. So much for that hi-rise apartment in the sky.

That seems like a fear you can get over. Just tell her that no one has died or even been injured in any of the OM fires. It's that safe.

Statistically, you're much more likely to survive an apartment fire (if the apartment has a sprinkler system) then you would a house fire. An apartment with a working sprinkler system is probably the safest environment you could be in during a fire.

It wasn't that great today. Yesterday was ok. I guess I'm used to it though.

Today was a pink/purple sun sitting on top of a line of clouds it was great from 680, I wouldn't think it was that different downtown.

It was cloudy and gray DT. If it is something really cool I usually try to get a picture of it.
