Need a good tailor...

Post by adam@eventsomaha.com »

Somehow, I've got two very small holes in the elbow of my favorite suit coat.

Does anyone know a good tailor who could repair it? My grandmother does all of my alterations for me, but this is a bit beyond her area of expertise.

Thanks
Adam

Adam:  I have used the shop that is located in the Crossroads Mall, next to Sears.  They have always done a great job.  They are a little pricey, but I never worry about anything.  Good Luck.

The best is the one in Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs. i forgot what it's called, but my wife goes there all the time. I highly recommend it. We went to one in Rockbrook Village by 108th and Center, and they were pricey and busy.

My wife knows the lady at the Mall of the Bluffs. Her daughter used to work with my wife. Good people, quality work and inexpensive.

Tailors?

I didn't do a search on this one, so sorry if there is an existing thread.
I bought a new suit while I was out here in L.A. And need the pants tailored. Anyone have one they recommend?

Why did you buy a suit in LA?  You need to dress up for the bars out there?

I was in the fashion district in downtown and had the urge to spend money. Plus they have really good deals in there. Pretty cool area really. I have a few touristy pics of the area to post.

Josh I hate to say this, but we've clearly spent too much time together.

I've used both Sy's Tailor at 120th and Blondo as well as some little place on the east edge of Benson right where Saddle Creek and Maple and NW Radial all collide.  It's a hole and the girls don't speak much English, but they're miracle workers on bad bridesmaid dresses.
