Definitely an improvement over what is there now. Â I like the fountain and the integration of the statues of some of their recognized brand individuals like the Chef.

suburban or not, i am digging the spoon in a bowl fountain. Â It's good to have unique sculptures/fountains like that.

This is definitely a great improvement to that corner plaza, which was/is rather big and desolate. More fountains/sculptures Downtown is almost always a good thing.

I think it will definitely improve the corner... every day I either drive, walk, or bike past it and it is pretty boring right now.

I agree with the previous two posters. Â That will enhance what is currently a plain corner Â the view from the corner is nice when you look down the row of trees and flags, but the actual corner needs a spruce up.

It will be interesting to see the brand flags go up, although I hope they keep the USA flags for holidays and such.

Does anyone know why Conagra put a fence up at their main entrance that now shows a rendering with a fountain on it? Are they going to redo it soon?

Have they killed the new fountain project on tenth? I saw they took the sign advertisiing it as coming soon down.

I know a guy that works for ConAgra in Minneapolis, and we talked about this fountain a couple of weeks ago. Â At that point, the fountain was definitely still happening, and it's part of their big branding relaunch, so hopefully it's juts a matter of time.

You'd think they would have that pretty well all sorted out before they make a HUGE media announcement about this new aesthetic to the Omaha campus.

Well, I hope they still plan to improve the plaza at 10th and Farnam.

They could sell part of their gigantic yard, perhaps the part next to the Embassy, to someone who will use it for something other than a tree field. Problem solved.

A construction fence is going up all around the plaza at 10th and Farnam today, and all of the 90s plaza lights have been removed. Hmmmm.

Do we think they are proceeding with a revamped plaza - sans fountain?

Anybody know details?

This would be fantastic. I actually spoke to a ConAgra employee today who had no knowledge of the project ever being canceled in the first place.

It's just so strange that they got all ready to do this last year, fenced it off, put fancy graphics up on the fence, and then ended up taking the fences down and supposedly "canceling" the project.

Now here we are with a new fence and a building permit.

Perhaps a construction delay, which as you know can be for any number of reasons. Â Hard to imagine why it would've been cancel in the first place with that obnoxious re-branding spoon all over their products and website.

Maybe it was too close to the interstate and it had to be converted into a billboard.

My wife and I went by last weekend and all the pavers were stacked up, but that was about it. Â It sounds like it's moving along pretty good now.
