Omaha Municipal Land Bank

The website for the OMLB launched yesterday and has plenty of information on the project, but more importantly lists the lots they are currently offering. I have been following this project closely for the past year and am excited to see what comes of it. Any thoughts from the community?

Website has recently updated with an expanded property list. The vast majority of properties are in Northeast Omaha and most are empty lots under the descriptor "depository agreement". Does anyone know what this entails?
Huge data trove, I haven't gotten a great chance to look through yet, but I see a couple of interesting properties - one near Kountze and one right by Hanscom park that may be a rental property? Lots of properties that could be parceled together in North Omaha as well.
Anyone else see something interesting? I'll update if I find anything.

The Omaha Municipal Land Bank, a public authority created to help renew older areas of town, wants to help by giving the City of Omaha $500,000 each year over the next four years to raze more languishing properties. Right now, there are more than 100 homes on the list to be demolished.
In turn, the city will work to foreclose on so-called demolition liens. Those are the charges the city attaches to a property to cover the cost of demolishing a structure when the property owner doesn’t pay.
Those liens — they can run around $15,000 — have been impediments to getting the left-behind land sold because they’re often far more expensive than what the land is worth, sometimes only $500.
Under the proposed agreement, the city would work to clear those liens in exchange for the land bank’s contribution toward demolitions.
If all goes as planned, pockets of abandonment and neglect could soon see new life — new homes replacing empty lots and contributing more in property taxes, too.

Here is a neat article about a joint project OMLB was involved in with MCC's construction department. Students, with the assistance of teachers and professionals built a house on land donated by the land bank. There was listing on Zillow that was removed about a month after it was posted, but the pictures are still up if you are interested to see how the project turned out. It is right off 30th street by the Fort Campus.
