Good article. Â Sums up a lot of why I don't like going to best buy.

We decided to get my Mother a backup camera for her car as a Christmas gift.
I had previously gone to Best Buy for one we obtained for my Dad. Â At that visit, there were three alternatives and a sales rep that could at least describe the differences between them. Â Their selection wasn't the best then, but we got the job done.
Last month, at the same store on DECEMBER 23rd, there was one cash register girl, and three sales reps as well as the constant presence of the guy in the yellow shirt who makes it your fault when the item you just bought still alarms as you leave the door. Â There was no rep in the general area of automotive electronics and they had 1 model and only 1 box of back up camera available. Â No assistance available.
So, BB, you have crabby people who can't deactivate you theft prevention systems properly, inadequate sales staff (both in number and training), limited selection, and high prices, and we should be surprised that you are losing to Amazon?

This is a few years old, but if you haven't seen it, it's worth reading and viewing, as it's hilarious.
It involves a well-staged prank played on a certain Best Buy shop a few years back.

Enjoy!
