As a result of strong consumer interest in the Panono throwable panoramic ball camera, the team working on its final development was able to procure camera modules with better optics and higher resolution that boost the camera from 72 to 108 megapixels and make the Panono the first consumer camera to exceed 100 megapixels. The Panono is a grapefruit-sized, ball-shaped camera with 36 camera modules embedded all around it that fire simultaneously when thrown into the air to capture everything in every direction in 360° X 360° fully spherical panoramic images.

Wow, that sounds awesome! Hopefully it has a fast shutter speed...
