One of my wife's most hated terms:  "It's all good."

Many things are not good.   Many things are better than others.   Therefore It can't possibly be "all good".

"trying to create an experience..." or "teach, train, and develop" or "what does that look like?" (i.e. in regards to creating an ideal atmosphere for employees or consumers.  "we are trying to create a great experience for the consumer.  what does that look like?  what process is in place?")

"for your safety and the safety of your family"

Because I hate it when people hide behind this phrase when they don't actually have any balls to say they're trying to shirk responsibility for something.

Or, that ubiquitous line:

"Your call is very important to us."

Yeah, right!

"Anyways"
My son got a 27 on his ACT. No this score is not as high as what Jeff's son achieved. But one has to remember the paternal gene-pool my son has to overcome. On a PGPAB [Paternal Gene-Pool Adjusted Basis], my son's score is a 37 and Jeff's son's PGPAB ACT score is 19.

Agree.

America's contribution to history is that at its very beginning, a man rose up, lead the most powerful military force on the NA continent to a crushing victory over a global superpower, had the love an devotion of the members of that military force, the love of most of the nation, and was one of the richest landowners in the nation.   He came to Congress armed to the teeth.  He was surrounded by similarly armed men who would have killed on command for him.

What did he do?   He put his sword on the desk and resigned to go home to be with his wife.   That simple act changed history.   Until that point, every man or woman in that situation would have declared themselves king/queen and everyone would have kissed the guy's ring and sworn allegiance to the new ruler as the old ruler was killed along with his family.

Our country has freed the world from fascism and communism.  Our country spends more money on charity than any other.   Our country is a bastion of hope and an inspiration to the world.

Yep, we are the greatest country in the world, ever.

"Fiscal Cliff"

Sick of it already.

...and where did the phrase "I know, right?" come from?  (already mentioned above) Seems like it kind of came out of nowhere.....unless it was in some movie I didn't see.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.

What I hate about these political phrases is how they get used till they are not an advantage anymore, even though the underlying problems haven't been fixed and we are still heading towards a bad place.

Only bad, if like me, you are trying to eat better.  The four inch thick deli sandwich is so tempting.

I know what you mean.  I walked in to M's Pub tonight with every intention of eating something somewhat healthy.  However the two people next to me were eating the Bratwurst Plate and it was all over after that.  It was Delicious!
