I can't imagine dropping a million on one of the condos just to have this happen either.

What's really frustrating is that this punk who got shot KNOWS who shot him. 4 punks in a silver car started shooting at 4 punks in a red car. This is not just some random thing.

Isn't this the 2nd one to happen on or right at the bridge?

Ten people will have been there, but none of them saw anything.

They really should say "Near the BKPBridge" since the victim was in a car. Unless the car was on the bridge, which I don't think was the case. It's not like thugs or hoodlums were shooting at people going across the bridge, thank God. It was as close to Riverfront Drive as the bridge itself, although saying BKPB pinpoints the location a bit, and makes a more dramatic headline.

I agree they need to step-up patrols before it gets more out of hand, or at least install more cameras.

It must have been real close to the bridge because the report I saw on Channel 7 showed the bridge closed and the police cars in the video had the bridge in the background.

Some of that could have been used to keep onlookers away.

My old Roomate and good friend is an OPD officer, and he was stationed at the Ped Bridge from 11pm to 3am both Friday and Saturday night. He said the crowd thinned out a bit when they showed up at 11 on Friday. He said Saturday was very quiet, but apparently was a big fight and disturbance in the old market instead...
