I'm curious as to what the MO for this was.

Here's the police dispatch audio. They edited out most of the dead air, so you often hear the tones they use to keep the channel clear one after another in close succession, which is kind of obnoxious.

Really dumb question, was he shooting up the Parliament from the inside or outside?

I believe it was closed at the time and he shot from the outside although there were employees inside.

He is being charged with six counts of attempted murder for shooting at the Cops maybe also for the Parliament employees.

Yes they were closed at the time but the doors were unlocked. The owner was there and a Budweiser delivery man was there too. The owner and the delivery driver heard the shooter come in and fire a shot and they climbed up into the attic to hide. The shooter saw them scurry into the attic and he proceeded to walk around the bar randomly firing his shot gun and pistol into the ceiling trying to hit them. The shooter tried numerous times to fake them out by yelling out he was leaving after he fired a couple of shots into the ceiling but they did not fall for the trick.

Strange thing about this case is how we have not been told yet what the shooters motive was. I think there is much more to this story but all parties are keeping their mouths shut at this point.

One of these days there is going to be some serious gun control in this country. Each one of these incidents is just more proof that a significant percentage of the gun loving freaks are also the same ones who have no damn business being near a gun.

While there are people that have no business having a fire arm I think your math is way off no matter how you define significant percentage.

My math may not be correct but my idea is spot on. I think every jack off, goof off, and half crazy that I know has ran out and got a conceal and carry permit and or stocked up on guns. And that aint right and it sure aint good. Our society is really getting FUBAR on this subject and its not going to fix itself its just going to get worse. There is nothing good that can come form having all of our distressed and troubled citizens in this country able to get guns so easy. And before you start labeling me an Obama loving gun control freak guess again. I am for Trump baby all the way.

He'd fit in good in Western Nebraska.

Lets keep it real here. You got dozens of the same kinds of individuals in your family and inner circles just like we all do. Our society is knee deep in nuts. Until we pull our heads out of the sand and take a few honesty pills we are not going to be able to slow this |expletive| down. Just like Trump has accused the Muslims of keeping their mouths shut and turning their heads when they see their fellow Muslims up to no good we have the same problem with good ole Americans keeping their eyes closed and their mouths shut as they see people in their own families and friends obtaining and owning guns they have no business being around. Oh yes your friends and everyone you know are all angels and perfect citizens and until we get by that line of thinking we are not going to get anywhere. The cops need our help in identifying these folks and they can not do it all by themselves we are going to have to help them.

It said in todays paper the guy that shot up the Parliament pub had a history of mental illness and depression. Why in then name of sanity is this guy allowed to have a gun? It said in todays paper that the guy on 140th Blondo that killed himself this weekend and two other people had a domestic assault charge against him in the past. Why in the name of insanity is this guy allowed to own a gun?

The paper said that this guy on 140th Blondo went postal because his girl friend was moving out. What an ungrateful fool, I almost needed an act of god to get the 3 women out of my house back in my 20's when I was stupid enough to let women move in with me! I think too often we have the idea that a relationship breaks up because both parties are not happy but many times you have one party that is miserable and unhappy as all get out and the other party is happy and thinks everything is wonderful. Those are the relationships that can end really rough. Happy Valentines Day! :D

I love western Nebraska and by and by the people in those small towns are much nicer then the people here in Omaha! That being said I think TV, the internet, and illegal immigrants have poisoned rural Nebraska and its not near as nice as it was say 25 years ago.

People with depression and mental illness have the same rights and you or I do unless they are a threat to themselves or others.

That is exactly the kind of thinking thats going to get more schools and more malls shot up. If you are going to sit in a shrinks office and cry about your lousy life and take mind altering anti depressant drugs then could you please do us all a little favor then and give up your guns so you dont go beserk and kill us someday.

I have found that really strange too. They are always quick to point out a motive or at least find someone random will make their way on to TV and say something like "He was a regular drunk at the bar and got in a fight over his tab the night before". Not that its any of my business, but I would like to know the motive.

I'm with you on this one Mr. Smucker. But the problem is they seem perfectly fine when they purchase the guns and then go berserk later. Everyone's born innocent and then there is always a first time they commit a crime.
He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.

My dad knew the guy that did that. He's always been really intense about things and would always be mad.
