Up for some exercise this Saturday?

The annual Autumn in the Bluffs festival is this weekend, and it you enjoy the outdoors and enjoy seeing some different areas of the metro (and aren't a college football fanatic, such as myself), you might want to participate in a couple of things going on Saturday.

Hike planned as part of Autumn in the Bluffs

Vincent Bluff, located on top of the hill at the intersection of Woodbury Avenue and Harry Langdon Boulevard, is visible when entering Iowa from Nebraska. It has a spectacular view overlooking the Missouri River valley.

I'll second that on the spectacular view.

Bike around the Bluffs Saturday

The 27-mile bicycle ride will start at Christy Crème, 2853 N. Broadway, Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and circle the city in a counter-clockwise direction...There is no entry fee, and everyone is welcome. Riders are advised to bring a water bottle.

About 3/4 of the route is flat, and you finish with one heck of a downhill, should be a nice 2 hour ride for most.
