Very nice - finally had time to review it.
And so many people are going to read this...
Great promo - you have to wonder who was behind this.

Maybe it will help us shed the Nebraska off of Omaha in common reference.
And maybe it’s at the right time to help offset our school segregation attempt.

Wow that's some awesome advertising! Great looking writeup!

My favorite ad is from Bailey Lauerman (the marketing/advertising firm in Lincoln) on page 27 of 28 that says:
WHERE WOULD WE
BE WITHOUT
OMAHA?

Probably New York, Chicago or LA
and not having nearly as much fun.
I wish I could link to the image, but it's inside the pdf...

Yeah, I like that one, too!

An exceptional piece on Omaha! I'm so glad Omaha will be exposed to thousands of people who have a stereotyped view of this great city!

Maybe someone already caught this, but in the section about restaurants, they reference About Schmidt, but they call it All About Schmidt.

Well, hopefully some Omahans on United flights will read the article and feel better about their city. Also, the Wallstreet Tower Omaha was mentioned in one of the articles.

i am kind of disappointed they did not mention the metro population, only the 400k number that live within the city limits. Oh well, it was still a most excellent article!

While the main articles didn't refer to the metro population, several adds mentioned that 1.1 million people live in a 45-50 mile radius. Also, I read that John Beasley is looking to build a 300 seat theater in North Downtown. Has this been mentioned before in eOmaha?

It's just an advertisement, and most people don't know the difference.

I just read it. Overall it's pretty good. I liked the first cartoonish picture of Omaha. All of that stuff in the picture is actually in Omaha.

Yeah and they give a 45m (I think) commute ring of about 1million. I like that the best.

I procured three hard copies this weekend. Of course one is mine :).

Now, start fighting over who deserves the other two the most. ;)

I can't help but assume I should get first dibbs, but then again, I'll probably be satisfied with just looking at your copy.

I traveled United this weekend and flew back in on Thursday evening. The article looks even better in print. It was great to see the Berkshire investors reading the article on their way to spend the weekend in the city.

I haven't read all the replies, but just wanted mention that during my United flight from LA to Denver the inflight tv programing featured an Omaha infomercial.

Take a few, they're free! :D

I ordered 10 from the publisher. I'll have a couple extra copies if anyone wants one. First come, first served.

Found this in my United Airlines inflight magazine last month:
