Friday night events at Wilson Island
This summer, DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge will partner with Wilson Island State Recreation Area to present Friday evening campground programs. These programs will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Wilson Island campground. Meet the ranger at the shelter near the Missouri River. The series runs Friday nights from May 9 through Aug. 8. . . .

The programs are free and open to the public.  . . .

That's great news.  I went up there for the first time right before the flooding became a crisis everywhere else along the Missouri and it was already closed due to flooding.
