Maybe so. This is a shot I got last week, about three miles from the river.

A Crane Trust volunteer posted on Facebook this past weekend they heard Bob had been spotted closer to Aurora. You never know...

I don't know. I have almost 800mm on my camera and I still can't tell if it's a crane or snow goose....

As far as eagles, I just drove around Manawa and didn't see a single one!

I found Bob! Just minutes from my house, around 5 miles or so southeast of GI. Very overcast in the evening, shot from 200+ yards with 500mm. Satisfied with the quality under the conditions, but happier to have the receipts for the sighting. :D

According to the Boyer Schute FB page, there are 4 bald eagles up there. 2 adults, two juveniles.

on Friday I saw several near Pacific Junction, IA and Plattsmouth, NE.
