New library being built in Blair by the Deerfield neighborhood. Right now dirt is being moved, I'll try to take a picture this weekend.

I don't know the Deerfield area of Blair. Is this going to be near downtown, like the existing one?

I presume this will be along Hwy 75 north of town (past the Hospital) and near Deerfield Elementary.

And... any word on what will happen to the old Library spot?

Yes, its right by the school. The old building they hope to sell but I doubt it would go for much. In fact the present library was supposed to be temporary and they wanted to build a new one in the 90s, but of course that didn't happen. All the city of Blair cares about right now is the little airport for the rich people on the city council. Blair's government is very corrupt.

Dirt at the site is tore up and drainage pipes are being put in place.
