Wow, where has this winter gone! Less than a month until the cranes return, only two months until they peak!

The first wave is now arriving!

Took these this morning in Hall County, between Doniphan and Alda Road. Already several good sized groups in the usual spots. Nothing very close to the road, but the first viewing of the year is awesome, no matter what!

Most are currently in the Grand Island area, with a small group in the Gibbon area.

Next count will be February 27th
