An upscale office building planned for construction east of the Buffalo County Courthouse could be finished as early as next March, said the project’s developer.
These next two quotes are in regards to the loft apartment project downtown.Shultz intends to build a two-story, 14,000-square-foot office complex at the location, which is north of 15th Street between Central Avenue and Avenue A. The $2.6 million office space will cater to attorneys, architects, engineers, state agencies and others who frequently do business at the courthouse, said Shultz.
At Friday’s meeting, commissioners also will hear a request from Jeff Sikes to rezone land at 2013 Ave. A from limited industrial to central business district/Kearney Center mixed-use district.
If approved, the 90-year-old building will be renovated into an 18,000-square-foot apartment complex with 15 lofts and an office, said Sikes. Construction could be completed as early as February 2007.
