Omaha's MSA

I was just wondering if you guys knew why Lincoln wasn't part of Omaha's MSA? Is there a mileage thing that goes into effect because its not that far from Omaha if people drive everyday shouldn't it be included? Just curious about that.

I believe the criteria has to do with the percentage of a county's residents that work in the principal city in the metropolitan area. EOmaha or DMRyan know the exact percentage that is requried before a county is included in a metro area.

As time marches on and growth continues, the Lincoln metro area will be included in some manner with the Omaha Metro Area. Its only a matter of time.
