I'm actually surprised to see Urban Outfitters soldiering on this long... must be a well managed store.

As much as I'd love to see this area really take off ... it's unfortunate that all of metro Omaha has to lose the presence of a (purportedly... I don't know anything about it) high visibility retailer like this, because of a failed experiment.  Locate in One Pacific Place or Westroads, even Oakview... I'm sure the place does just fine.

That's such a rough place to go right now. Just those two stores for shopping. Those two are just out there on their own.  Will be interesting to see how and when that space is used again.  Hopefully they can get some neighbors that will help.

American Apparel is folding nation wide.  They hit a close to rock bottom as you can in August and are hanging on by a thread.  Not at all surprising they are closing here.

The American Apparel store in north downtown’s Saddle Creek Records complex will close March 30, a store manager said. The store opened in September 2008.
