I could have sworn that I drove by there a few weeks ago and saw the old car dealership structure there. I was shocked to see that it was gone. Maybe I wasn't paying attention.

I know it has been there for a few months because my dad, brother, and I had to go to O'Reilly Auto Parts in that area. My dad was like that's new but then when I saw it was a Wal-Mart, I said "I think this is one of Wal-Mart's Neighborhood Market." When we was by there, the outside of the building was basically done. All that was left that I seen was the parking lot.

They're starting work on the next Wal-Martian (Market) base on the NE corner of 96th and Giles. There's equipment and snow fence up on the property.

Has anyone been in one of these?  Curious about the product mix.  None of them are near where I live or work.

Its more or less a huge convenience store.

Limited healthcare, pets.   Smaller food choice than the larger wal mart would have.

I wouldn't call it a convenience store, but more like a Fareway or the older Bakers stores.

It is the grocery section of Walmart with not as many selections.  Not Fairway IMO. Fairway has customer service.
For the record  NEBUGEATER does not equal BUGEATER    !!!!!!!

I was surprised to drive by the WNM in LaVista and see it angled facing the intersection...

I agree...we have visited the one on Capehart in Bellevue quite a few times, very clean store and helpful workers.  If you are needing something quickly definitely beats going to Hy-Vee or one of the other big grocery stores.

Walmart will open two new Omaha stores next week.

Also at 8 a.m. that same day, Walmart will open its sixth Omaha-area Neighborhood Market, the retailer's smaller grocery store format. The new 29,000-square-foot store at 2541 N. 90th St. will open after a 7:30 a.m. ribbon cutting.

I didn't know the store was only 29,000 sq. ft. I thought they were closer to 40,000 sq. ft. Maybe some are larger than others.
