Palm Beach Tan (Formerly Ashley Lynn's)

Another local business gone...  and replaced with yet another chain.
Ashley Lynn's Tanning on Facebook wrote: Hi Everyone!

Today we officially become Palm Beach Tan. We encourage you to "like" us on Facebook to receive a free tan in any bed: http://on.fb.me/1ejbaac.

What does this change mean for you? You will continue to enjoy the same great service from the tanning consultants you know, but you'll now enjoy the benefits of being part of the nation's largest tanning salon chain!

Ashley Lynn’s Tanning Members will now become Premier Rewards Members, receiving rewards like free upgrades, tans, sunless sessions, and discounts every 3 months.
They also closed or are closing the Paxton location.

Never knew Ashley Lynn's was local. Sad to see it replaced by a chain. What was the reason?

If it's a 20+ year old business, I would speculate that maybe the original owners decided to sell and retire.

lol. I know why she (the owner) sold the business, and it has everything to do with the new health care laws. I know several local business owners who are opting to pay the penalties, rather than cooperate with the absurd legislation, as well.

It's going to get interesting for small businesses with full-time help
