MidAmerican Energy Holdings takes Berkshire name

Looks like MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company will be rebranded as Berkshire Hathaway Energy. The locally managed businesses will continue to operate under the current names. For example Des Moines based MidAmerican Energy will stay the same. We were surprised to receive the memo this morning, as we had no idea this was being considered.

Interesting News...

That seems even more sticky for "CBS Home Realestate" which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway Energy and then the old Ambassador with was re-branded "Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate".
