Omaha company first in U.S. to sell 'fun' electric car for those in wheelchairs
Bob Glissmann: World-Herald staff writer wrote:Barry was among the first in Omaha to test-drive the car, which is being sold at Kohll's Pharmacy & Homecare at 127th and Q Streets. Kohll's, which has an auto dealer's license, modifies and services vehicles for people with disabilities and sells wheelchair vans.

The cars, which cost about $19,000, can be charged from a standard 110-volt outlet in about six hours, said Laurie Dondelinger, a Kohll's spokeswoman. It costs about 70 cents to charge the car, and they can go up to 50 miles on one charge.
