Back when Baker's was a local company, they had 2 whole floors of that office building on 84th and Dodge. I am sure buckey's doesn't need quite that much space, but I bet they need a good amount. Backers had +/- a dozen stores back then, all in the metro. Buckey's has stores in Omaha, Chicago, and St Louis.

I saw that, but that building is tiny. I can't imagine they have more than 10k sq ft of office space?

They were a client for a former employer of mine and I had to go there once about 4 years ago to get some paperwork. If I remember correctly, the office was basically an open room with a bunch of desks spaced out. No cubicles or anything like that. I didn't get a good look at the place since I was there for maybe 30 seconds.

Those c-stores for the most part run themselves but I wouldn't be surprised if the home office needed a little more space considering how many locations they have.

Rumor is close but not quite correct. The company has owned the one story building to the west of the BCBS building at 7315 Mercy Road for quite a while and will eventually renovate and move into that building.

Thanks for that info! Looks like Buck's Inc bought that building (10k sq ft) two years ago... Looks like they should have a new sign there right now (I'll look on my way home from work).

There is a small sign on the outside south wall that says Bucky's Employment and Training Center. There are Flags marking the front lawn, so I guess there will be a regular sign out front soon.
