Re: Interesting history of the Fontenelle Hotel
I am doing research of Fontelnelle Hotel and Old Woodman of the Year (built in 1912). I need to know is there any picture of Pontenelle Hotel facing direction of North, South, West and East? Is there any blueprint so I can build lego Fontenelle Hotel

I'd suspect any photos might be in the archive at the Durham Museum. The blueprint I'd think might be in the city archive or perhaps the archive of the designer of the building. Do you know the name of the construction company who built it?

I also posted this as a reply to your same question in the photography area:ENeuman900 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 02, 2018 5:14 pm I am doing research of Fontelnelle Hotel and Old Woodman of the Year (built in 1912). Here's a link to the Durham Museum collection of Fontenelle photos:

I didn't look through them all, so I don't know if they have a view of the north and west sides.
I looked for the drawings at this site, but could not find any for the Fontenelle. Lots of other drawings though. I'll have to look again for the name Eppley, since the hotel chain was owned by Mr. Eppley.

He said "They are some big, ugly red brick buildings"
...and then they were gone.
