Besides the sweet new offices, we just purchased a new house using Arbor bank and they were Awesome! Very nice people and they are the only bank in Omaha to offer a construction loan attached to their conventional mortgage for people like us who want to buy a "Fixer-upper".
We purchased the house and also got estimates for what the renovation will cost. They make sure it will appraise when its all done and then approve the loan. Now we had a year to complete the renovation and when we are done, we will have a conventional mortgage, no strings attached at a great interest rate.
