Ballantyne to buy film service firm

The acquisition of National Cinema Service Corp. marks the first step toward establishing a digital cinema service network, which John Wilmers, Ballantyne's chief executive officer, said is a cornerstone in the company's long-term plan.

Wilmers said the company is still looking at more acquisitions.
